Complementar dietetic food for dogs and cats. It reduces the recurrence of calculations of inorganic phosphate.

 

URO-PET, thanks to its content of DL-methionine, acidified the urine. It is a complementar dietetic food that helps to reduce the recurrence of calculations of inorganic phosphate. It can be used in cats with feline urological syndrome and in dogs with a tendency to the formation of phosphate stones.

 

The required daily dose varies depending on the needs of the animal and must be based on the reduction of urine pH. Thanks to its highly palatable pasta can be easily administered to the animals.

 

Important nutritional and physiological properties: acidifying properties  of the urine(methionine).

Administration:

If there are phosphate stones:

Cats: ½ - 1 teaspoon (2.5-5 ml; 3.6 g) twice daily.

Dogs: ½ - 3 teaspoons (depending on weight) twice daily.

Maintenance dose:

Cats: ½ - 1 teaspoon (2.5-5 ml; 3.6 g) two or three times a week.

Dogs: ½ - 3 teaspoons (depending on weight) two or three times a week.

Treatment time: up to 6 months.

It is recommended to consult the opinion of the veterinarian before use.

The dough should not be administered on an empty stomach.

It should be administered directly in the mouth, with food or drinking water.
